Tasks.

 

  • Responsibility for the everyday operations and the establishment and observance of good operating procedures regarding the physical building safety for the Central European Regional Operation Centre and the German Security Control Room of a financial institution
  • Vendor Management / Governance including, but not limited to, positive control, deployment planning, shift scheduling, training, vacation (define and assign employees to the shift model, according to local regulations)
  • Compliance to and execution of security guidelines, client standards, laws and regulations
  • Single point of contact for all questions referred to the Security Operations Centres; interacting on all levels within the company and the client’s security department; acting as point of contact towards other client’s businesses and regional management, vendors, official authorities (e.g. police, state and federal security services)
  • Internal operational risk management (Collecting, Tracking, Evaluating, Mitigation Process)
  • Responsibility for Travel Security Management of the Central European region including compiling and analyzing information concerning travel safety and travel advisories where appropriate
  • Performing regular and ad-hoc reporting on all defined activities related to Security Operations Centre, including regional MIS reporting responsibility
  • Incident Management regarding complete matters pertaining to the Operation Centres

 

Requirements.

Professional Prerequisites.

  • Several years of experience in security operations and team management in an international environment
  • High level of expertise in security operations
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in the application and implementation of intelligence processes
  • In-depth expertise of Security Operations systems’ functionality and applications
  • Solid knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent English language skills mandatory

  • Proven relationship management and adaptability skills in a demanding structured and regulated environment
  • Reliable in decision making in high pressure work situations over prolonged periods
  • High level of self-motivation and output-oriented work ethic in a high-performance environment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks autonomously; associated with excellent time management skills
  • Exceptional team and communications skills, experienced in efficient reporting to senior management; ability to establish viable relationships quickly
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual and organizational skills

Education.

  • University degree or comparable education (security, engineering subjects); respectively work experience and / or proven acquired knowledge in subjects required
